Acceptance of Terms
By browsing this website, submitting an enquiry, booking a consultation or subscribing to our newsletter, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of another person or an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind them.
Permitted Use of the Website
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not:
- Infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit, anyone else's use of the site.
- Introduce viruses, malware or other harmful or malicious code.
- Attempt unauthorised access to our systems, servers or client records.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the website.
- Collect personal information about other users without their consent.
- Present our content in a misleading way, or imply an endorsement that does not exist.
Not Medical Advice
The information on this website — including articles, blog posts, service descriptions, herbal guidance and nutrition suggestions — is provided for general educational purposes only. It is not a diagnosis, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice, examination or treatment.
Important: Always consult a qualified physician or licensed healthcare provider about any medical condition, and before starting, changing or stopping any medication, supplement or dietary programme. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read here. If you think you have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
Herbal products can interact with prescription medication and are not suitable for everyone, including during pregnancy, while breastfeeding, or for people with certain conditions. Disclose everything you take so we can advise safely.
Consultations & Appointments
- Consultations are offered in person and, where appropriate, by phone or video.
- Booking is confirmed only when we accept your request and agree a time with you.
- Please arrive or log in on time; late arrival may shorten the session.
- Recommendations are personalised guidance, not guarantees of a particular outcome.
- Results vary between individuals and depend on adherence, lifestyle and underlying health.
- We may refer you to a medical professional, laboratory or specialist whenever that is the safer route.
Your Responsibilities
To get the most from your care plan, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete and current information about your health, medications and supplements.
- Tell us promptly about any change in your health, medication or circumstances.
- Report any adverse reaction or unexpected symptom and stop the relevant product until we advise.
- Follow the plan as discussed, and ask questions rather than improvising.
- Keep your login and correspondence details secure, and notify us of any suspected misuse.
Herbal & Nutrition Products
Where we recommend or supply herbal and nutrition products, they are offered as supportive measures and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Product availability, formulations and sourcing may change. We do not accept responsibility for products purchased from third parties, including items bought elsewhere on the strength of general information published on this website.
Health Insurance Guidance
Any help we provide with health insurance is general guidance to help you understand options and terminology. We are not an insurer, underwriter or licensed broker for any specific policy unless stated in writing. Cover terms, eligibility, exclusions and approvals are decided solely by the insurance provider. Always read the policy documents carefully and confirm details with the insurer before making a decision.
Fees, Payment & Cancellation
- Applicable fees for consultations and programmes are shared with you before you commit, and are confirmed in writing.
- Payment is due at the time agreed when booking.
- Please give reasonable notice if you need to reschedule; we will do our best to offer an alternative time.
- Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect future booking availability.
- Refund requests are considered case by case and handled in good faith.
Newsletter & Communications
By subscribing, you agree to receive periodic emails containing herbal tips, recipes, wellbeing articles and practice updates. You may opt out at any time using the link in any email or through our Unsubscribe page, and we will action that request promptly. We may still contact you about a consultation you have booked, since that is a service you requested rather than marketing.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, articles, photographs, illustrations, logos, trademarks, service names, layouts and design — is owned by or licensed to Herbal Nutrition Care and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may read, download and print pages for personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep all notices intact and attribute the source.
You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, adapt or incorporate our content into another product or service without our prior written permission.
Content You Submit
When you send us a message, review or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it for the purpose of responding to you, providing our services and, where you have consented, publishing an anonymised testimonial. You confirm that what you submit is accurate and does not infringe the rights of another person. We may remove or decline to publish any content at our discretion.
Limitation of Liability
The website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that any content is complete or entirely suitable for your circumstances.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Herbal Nutrition Care and its practitioners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of the website or reliance on any information provided. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Herbal Nutrition Care, its practitioners, staff and affiliates from any claim, loss, liability or expense arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the website, or your use of any information or product in a manner contrary to the guidance provided.
Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the website or to our services where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the safety of clients or staff, to prevent unlawful activity, or where these Terms have been breached. Where it is safe and appropriate to do so, we will give notice and, if relevant, suggest an alternative provider.
General Provisions
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, form the whole agreement between you and us regarding use of the website.
- Amendments. We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page; the revised version takes effect when published.
- Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in full force.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent.
- Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the State of Alaska, United States, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
- No waiver. A failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.
